Rivers State Civil Society Organization (CLO) Successfully Holds Internal Elections. 

The Rivers State chapter of the Civil Society Organization (CLO) has concluded its internal elections. 

The election held on May 9, 2025, ushered in new executive members to pilot the affairs of the organization in the state. 

It was conducted in a peaceful and democratic atmosphere, reflecting the organization's commitment to democracy, transparency, and strong leadership in promoting human rights and civil liberties.

CLO while inaugurating the executive members, reaffirmed its dedication to human rights, social justice, and good governance, as it expressed optimism about deepening stakeholder engagement under the new leadership.

The newly elected executives are:

Comrade Sunny Dada - Chairman

Comrade Sunny Johnson - Vice Chairman

Comrade Christian Onyegule - Secretary

Comrade Samuel Robinson - Treasurer

Comrade Sammy Eke - Ex-Officio
