NRM reports that voting is ongoing at Ward 13, Unit 11 Ihuaje and unit 9  Abarikpo communities. 


There are no presence of security agencies at the voting centers. 

Chieftain of the people's democratic Party in Rivers State Dr. Nname Robinson Ewor has commended the people of Ahaoda for maintaining peace during the process. 

NNAME-EWOR who is also the chairman governing council of Captain Elechi Amadi polytechnic shortly after voting said the peaceful disposition of the people showed that security agencies are not needed to conduct election. 

He stressed that if Rivers State can conduct elections without security agencies that it shows hope for  a better democracy. 

He said the turn out is ok, people are still coming out, all Rivers people should trust the government of Governor Sim Fubara, Nigeria is a federation and Fubara will ensure that we gain the dividends of democracy".


He said "there is no disturbance here, there is no violence here, Nigeria is growing, democracy is becoming mature".

" Governor Fubara has promised to liberate the people by giving them giod governance that will ensure development, that is what he's doing, let's keep flying the flag of good democracy". He said. 

NRM reports that electoral process is peaceful and people turned out en masse to exercise their franchise.
