UPATA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL DISMISSES SIXTEEN CHIEFS, WITHDRAWS TITLES.

The Upata traditional council, Palace of Eze Igbu Upata in a bid to protect the image of the council and ensure proper presentation has withdrawn chieftaincy titles from 16 persons.
The Nye-Udu Upata His Royal Majesty Felix Otuwarikpo in a statement made available to newsmen explained that the withdrawal followed several meetings of the traditional council.
The statement signed by his Majesty withdrawed chieftaincy titles from Emeka Agwama, Godwin Ossai, Lot Okodu, Jared Onuabi, Orisa Ekpete, Wellington Ojigini, Pedro Alali, Daniel Aloni, Charles Apia, Osco Ochoma, James Olo, Chikwem Johnathan, Ikpe Unekpo, Chinedu Ake, Florence Amadi and Savior Dike for conducts it termed as unbecoming.

The statement further directed these affected persons to henceforth cease from attending and participating in the activities of the Upata traditional council.
The Nye-Udu Upata further directed that the affected persons stop bearing the title of Chief in Public or private, as he also called on members of the public to stop according the aforementioned persons any recognition as titled chiefs or members of Upata Traditional council.
