Ikorodu City FC were the biggest winners in match day 15 of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL after thrashing Akwa United.

The Oga Boys dismantled visiting Akwa United 4-1 in a one-sided affair to record unbeaten in six games and move to third on the log, two points behind the league leaders.

In another match, Emmanuel Amuneke led Heartland FC staged a comeback to beat Nasarawa United 3-2 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.

Goals from Promise Anyanwu, Suraj Lawal and Christian Moloku gave the Naze Millionaires the victory while Anas Yusuf and Garba Abubakar scored for the Solid Miners.

Rivers United secured a crucial one-nil home win over Kano Pillars via Okon Aniekeme 30th minute strike while Niger Tornadoes defeated Remo Stars 2-1 in Minna.

In the biggest match up of match 15 , Enugu Rangers took a valuable point away from home as they held Enyimba to a goalless draw in the Oriental Derby on Tuesday to extend their unbeaten run to 8 games .

The match, played at the Enyimba International Stadium, was a closely contested affair with both sides creating limited scoring opportunities.

The draw leaves Enyimba in sixth place in the NPFL table with 21 points from 13 matches, while Rangers, the defending champions, are fourth with 24 points from 15 games.
