Edo Queens Draw Tough Group in 2024 CAF Women's Champions League

Nigeria Women's Football League champions Edo Queens have been handed a relatively tough group in the CAF Women's Champions League draw held on Friday afternoon.

The Edo-based team qualified to play in the competition after they emerged as champions of the WAFU B regional competition.

According to Friday's draw, Edo Queens was placed in Group B alongside defending champions Mamelodi Sundown ( South Africa), Tutankhamun ( Egypt) and CBC FC ( Ethiopia).

Group A consists of host ASFAR of Morocco, Aigles De La Median ( Senegal), TP Mazembe ( DR Congo) and the University of Western Cape Town ( South Africa).

The competition is slated for Morocco from 9 - 23 November 2024.
