DOGS MEAT SELLER DISAPPEARS WITH NEIGHBOR‘S SIX MONTH OLD BABY IN RIVERS STATE

A meat seller living at Aneke lane, Mike 2 Diobu, Port Harcourt simply identified as Erica has disappeared with his neighbor's six month old male child. 

Nexus Report Media gathered that the suspect who newly packed into the compound absconded with the child on Sunday 29th September, 2024.

The suspect who is also a butcher packed into the compound two months ago and has been involved in the sales of dog meat at the front the compound. 

The mother of the child Hope Sunday who narrated the incident to NRM said the child's name is Lucky Sunday. 

She said "I wanted to wash my clothes, he said let me help you carry the baby, so that you can spread the clothes, then I gave my baby to him, I gave him my baby because he likes carrying children always".

" So I started chasing my other children to go inside and sleep while he sat in the chair, before I pursue my other children inside and came out, I did not see him(neighbor) again.

Meanwhile the nigeria association of Women journalist have condemned the recent abduction of the six month old baby. 

NAWOJ said the act of kidnapping an innocent infant us reprehensible as they called on the authorities to intensify efforts in ensuring safe return of the baby. 

The women journalists in Rivers State further advised all mothers and caregivers to be extra vigilant, especially during  festive period.
