Rivers State governor escapes assassination attack by alleged Police officers.

Rivers State government says Governor SIMINALAYI FUBARA survived assassination attack from hired thugs in company of Police personnel.

The commissioner of Information and Communication, JOSEPH JOHNSON said those involved in the destruction of the facility at the State House of Assembly Complex does not mean well to the state.

JOHNSON wonder why anyone will leave to impeach human being and attack building that is serving a purpose, insisting that impeachment has a process and urged that those plotting to impeach the governor must give Rivers people their reason for their actions.

The Information commissioner while warning that people must allow the power that have shifted to rest on the person it has been shifted to just as he criticized those that attacked the governor on his way to inspect the House of Assembly facilities.
