NPFL Matchday 14: Remo Stars Shine in South-West Derby and Nasarawa United Bounce Back

Nasarawa United returned to winning ways after a nervy 2-1 win over Bendel Insurance in match day 14 NPFl clash.
Victor Collins opened the scoring in the 9th minute for the hosts before Meyiwa Oritseweyinmi equalized in the 24th minute.
Qamar Adegoke restored the home side's lead six minutes into the restart, which proved enough to secure the maximum points for underfire Kabiru Dogo.
In Uyo, Friday Apollos's late strike into stoppages gave Akwa United the victory against a resilient Plateau United, while Kwara United got the better of Heartland FC 1-0 in Ilorin.
In the South-West derby, Remo Stars got the better of Shooting Stars with a comfortable 2-0 victory in Ikenne while Sunshine Stars and Rivers United shared the spoils in a 1-1 affair in Ijebu Ode.
Ikorodu City FC continued their resurgence with a 2-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Lagos with goals from Shola Adelani and Ayo Cole.
In the Cathedral Enugu Rangers continued their resurgent form with a 3:0 dominant win over Lobi stars to stretch their unbeaten run to seven games.
